This is your chance to be a member of our shaping culture: Head of Engineering (d/f/m) 100 % This is what you move with us As Head of Engineering, you will work alongside your team to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and technical safety of our prestigious, traditional hotel. Your Responsabilities Maintenance Operational Safety: Oversee the maintenance of the entire hotel operation and take responsibility for overall technical safety throughout the property. Technical Management: Supervise the proper handling, servicing and maintenance of all technical equipment, machinery, tools, alarm systems and swimming pool facilities. Quality Defect Control: Conduct regular inspections throughout the hotel to monitor the condition of the property, prepare defect reports and coordinate the professional resolution of any issues identified. Supplier Quotation Management: Obtain quotations, negotiate service contracts, coordinate external specialist contractors in the event of major damage and award contracts in consultation with the General Manager. Leadership Team Development: Lead your team of technicians, oversee onboarding and ongoing training, conduct daily meetings and technical team meetings, and report directly to the General Manager. This is you Education: Successfully completed vocational training in a technical or skilled trade, such as electrical engineering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing or a comparable field. Experience: Several years of professional experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management role, ideally within the hospitality industry. Skills Competencies: Strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, sound decision-making abilities in emergency situations, and a structured, reliable approach to work.
