Our Rooftop Autonomous Control Kit (RACK) integrates sensing, compute, communication, and networking into a manufacturer-agnostic solution deployable across a wide range of construction machines. /p pAs a Field Robotics Engineer, you will play a central role in delivering customer projects and ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. This bhybrid position combines hands‑on technical execution with ownership of customer deployment projects from planning through delivery /b. /p pYou will work closely with RD and Operations to coordinate end‑to‑end deployments, continuously improving how we plan, test, and deliver our solutions. You will lead on‑site setup and commissioning, engage directly with customers throughout project execution, and help translate complex robotic system behavior into reliable real‑world performance. Your ability to understand and troubleshoot integrated robotic systems will be essential to maintaining and advancing the robustness of our field operations. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the technical execution of customer deployment projects from start to finish. /li liOwn end‑to‑end technical planning, coordination, and follow‑up in close collaboration with Operations. /li liServe as a trusted technical point of contact for customers throughout the deployment lifecycle. /li liProvide hands‑on technical support and guidance to customers and end users. /li liPerform regular system testing to ensure reliability, robustness, and performance. /li liGenerate performance reports and work with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve issues quickly. /li liContribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes, tooling, and best practices. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree (including degrees from universities of applied sciences / fachhochschule) in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. /li liStrong experience deploying, integrating, and debugging robotic software systems. /li liExperience with the ROS ecosystem. /li liSolid Linux proficiency. /li liFluency with Git or other version control systems. /li liGood programming skills in C++ and Python. /li liWillingness to travel to customer sites (including internationally, depending on project needs). /li liValid Category B driving license. /li /ul h3Beneficial /h3 ul liHands‑on mechanical or electronics experience (hardware assembly, basic soldering). /li liExperience with communication protocols such as CAN. /li liPrevious customer project or technical project management experience. /li liProfessional or native proficiency in German. /li liPractical experience repairing vehicles, machinery, bicycles, or electronics. /li liExperience operating or working with construction or agricultural machinery. /li /ul pDon't meet every requirement?
