We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Lead to guide a dynamic team of 6-7 developers and 2 testers in developing and evolving our cutting-edge online casino gaming platform. This platform empowers online casinos to seamlessly integrate and host a variety of games while also providing game development studios with a robust environment to develop and deploy their creations. As the Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the continuous development and architectural evolution of our gaming platform. You will bridge business needs with technical execution, fostering innovation while ensuring high-quality delivery. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Development team to drive both the strategic and day-to-day development activities.
Your tasks
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize development tasks based on business needs
- Oversee and manage the technology stack, ensuring it aligns with project goals and industry best practices
- Provide technical design concepts and solutions for implementation tasks, aligned with high-level architectural guidelines
- Contribute to architectural decisions in collaboration with the architecture team
- Improve and maintain the software development processes, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the lifecycle
- Develop proof-of-concepts to explore and validate new technologies and approaches
- Lead, mentor and support team members, fostering their professional growth and technical skills
- Support software release activities to ensure smooth deployment and operation
- Work closely with the Solution Architect and other teams to maintain a clean, service-oriented architecture
Your profile
- Bachelor\’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including leadership or mentoring roles
- Strong understanding of microservices and service-oriented architecture, modern software development practices and design patterns
- Ability to translate architectural designs into scalable and maintainable code
- Advanced expertise in backend development with .NET Core and C#
- Solid experience with REST and WebSocket APIs
- Knowledge of frontend technologies like Angular and TypeScript
- Proficiency in database development with technologies like MongoDB, MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking
- Ability to mentor and inspire team members
- Oversee the development team from an organizational and setup perspective, ensuring optimal team structure, resource allocation, and workflows
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have Skills:
- Understanding of the Actor Model and experience with MS Orleans or Akka.net
- Hands-on experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience with gRPC
- Experience with cloud deployment orchestration tools (e.g., Rancher, OpenShift) and service mesh solutions (e.g., Istio)
- Experience with testing frameworks
