Together with Helsing, our mother company, we are developing Europe’s first autonomous combat aircraft, CA-1 Europa.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, integration, testing, and verification of secure, IP-based data connections (microwave, telemetry, video streaming) between airborne sensor platforms (Radar, EO/IR) and ground stations
- Coordination of technical interfaces with avionics, sensors, and IT network teams to guarantee seamless end-to-end integration
- Implementation and compliance with aviation standards (EMC, IT security policies, documentation) during development and integration phases
- Ensuring end-to-end security and reliability of data links, including encryption, authentication, and real-time transmission performance
Your Profile / Skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Communications Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and integrating IP-based transmission systems; hands-on with telemetry, radio links, or streaming solutions between aircraft and ground systems
- Solid expertise in IT security (encryption, network hardening, zero-trust principles) and real-time data communication
- Advantage: knowledge of avionics/sensor integration and familiarity with aviation compliance frameworks
- Strong English skills, spoken and written, for international collaboration
- German >B2 would be a plus.
