To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Junior Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) at the earliest possible opportunity. The position is initially limited to 2 years. As a Junior Account Specialist, you will ensure that all financial processes comply with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. You will support month-end and year-end closing activities and take responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable processes (AR/AP) in DATEV. In addition, you will assist in payroll preparation. Beyond your operational tasks, you will independently drive smaller projects across procurement, accounting and controlling, contributing to the continuous improvement of our finance processes. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance of financial processes with internal policies and regulatory requirements Support month-end and year-end closing activities Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable (AR/AP) in DATEV Assist in the preparation of payroll data and coordination with external providers Support procurement processes Contribute to accounting and controlling tasks, including data preparation and analysis Independently manage smaller projects to improve finance and operational processes Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Finance and Operations Job Requirements Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field First practical experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role (e.g., internships) Basic understanding of accounting principles (HGB/Tax knowledge is a plus) Experience with or willingness to learn DATEV and common finance tools (e.g., Excel) High attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working Hands‑on mentality and willingness to take ownership of tasks and small projects Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Fluent in German and good command of English Why SURU?
