Lotus Tech Innovation Centre in Germany is a leading engineering facility in electric mobility and the birthplace of next-generation legends. A team of 200 passionate experts works together. To elevate the company, we are seeking a Head of Legal to join us at our office in Raunheim, near Frankfurt.

What you\’ll do:

• Advise management and departments on all legal matters, including preparing, reviewing, and negotiating operational contracts related to automobile engineering, software, leasing, licensing, NDAs, operations, and purchasing.
• Manage legal projects such as Contract Management, Data Protection, and Compliance.
• Handle data protection issues in collaboration with the external Data Protection Officer.
• Assist with questions related to individual and collective labor law.
• Draft, implement, and evaluate compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support R&D teams with IP rights, including patent research, registration, and negotiations within the Geely Group.
• Assist the team with various legal matters.

What you\’ll bring:

• A qualified German lawyer with at least three years PQE, experience in a reputable law firm or company.
• Proficiency in legal English and German; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Solid knowledge of corporate, contract, and commercial law, along with negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
• Well-organized, efficient, and capable of multitasking.
• Autonomous, structured work approach.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• A proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and ownership mindset.

Additional Information:

• This position is based at our Innovation Centre in Raunheim, with flexible working arrangements.
• Travel may be required to various entities and the Customer Care Center in Europe. Candidates must be able to travel freely.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Germany without visa sponsorship.
