Overview
In this role you will support the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) by coordinating instrumentation and monitoring activities across multiple dams. You will help finalize SCADA and surveillance plans, oversee data collection and analysis, and support the establishment of centralized control centers. This role involves technical bid preparation, capacity building, and contributing to new guidelines and MIS development. You will work within a cross-functional team to enhance dam safety and performance on a national scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- coordinate and implement instrumentation and monitoring plans for DRIP
- review and finalize instrumentation plans including SCADA and surveillance systems
- support centralized Control and Command Centre setup and state-level control rooms
- manage data collection, transmission, processing, and reporting protocols
- O&M of instrumentation at dams and ensure hardware/software data transmission
- prepare technical bid documents, BOQs, and specifications
- develop training programs for DRIP implementation and capacity building
- contribute to guideline revisions and MIS/National Website inputs
- inspect dams as needed and support special safety panels
Zentrale Anforderungen
- engineering degree in any branch
- ≥10 years in planning and execution of dam instrumentation and automation
- experience with SCADA, data analysis, and instrumentation installation at large dams
- ability to prepare instrumentation plans and supervise installations
