Overview
In this role you join Santander’s Global Banking team in Frankfurt to serve as a reliable point of contact for corporate clients and internal stakeholders. You’ll support deal execution, financial analyses, and client presentations while ensuring compliance and risk standards. The position involves cross-functional collaboration across product, geography, and support teams to identify opportunities and drive client value. You will help shape client strategies and contribute to the bank’s mission of enabling more people and businesses to prosper.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Serve as primary contact for corporate clients and internal partners within Global Banking
- Provide full service support and resolve complex client inquiries across products and geographies
- Assist in transaction preparation and execution with product teams (e.g., DCM, Syndicated Loans, Global Transaction Banking)
- Collaborate with senior bankers and product specialists to develop new business opportunities
- Perform financial and strategic analyses on sectors, competitors, and clients
- Prepare client presentations and support client pitches, credit documentation, and risk & business committee materials
- Monitor client profitability and revenue targets through business plans and performance tracking
- Support compliance and KYC requirements across engagements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 1–2 years relevant experience in corporate banking or investment banking
- Bachelor’s degree; strong academic track record; finance/ economics related preferred
- Proficiency in German and English (Spanish optional)
- Basic financial modelling skills and understanding of company valuations
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
