Overview
In this role you will support the Chief Compliance Officer and the Compliance team to manage regulatory risk within MAR, MiFID, and related rules. You will help implement policies, guide first-line controls, and deliver training to raise awareness and mitigate risk. You’ll develop reports for senior management and contribute to policy development and change initiatives as a subject matter expert. This is a chance to shape risk governance in a global bank and work with cross-functional teams.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Advise on complex regulatory risk escalations from the first or second line of defence
- Ensure policies align with global documents and current legal/regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and training to first-line on policy implementation and impact
- Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programmes
- Recommend actions to mitigate regulatory risks and produce high-quality senior management reports
- Support regulatory risk assessments
- Contribute to change management and internal policy development as an SME
- Develop relevant management information (MI) and ensure adequate reporting
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Previous experience in Regulatory Compliance / Business Line Compliance in financial services with an international client base or large corporate organisations
- In-depth knowledge of MAR, MiFID II, and WpHG and ability to apply them day-to-day
- Experience in developing policies and implementing/overseeing control frameworks
- English and German language proficiency
- Knowledge of regulatory risks in Wholesale/Corporate and Investment Banking
- Experience using systems/software to analyse data
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
- Initiative, organisation, planning and prioritisation
- Strong written and verbal communication with ability to influence stakeholders
- Data analysis using systems/software
- Knowledge of Wholesale / Corporate and Investment Banking products
