Overview
In this role you shape and lead the global real estate strategy for Deutsche Börse Group, supporting 30+ locations and a modern, high-performance workplace. You will manage a global team, drive operations, continuous improvement, and transformation of existing sites while planning and delivering new locations in line with long-term business objectives. You will coordinate with external partners to ensure consistent, best-in-class service and work with subsidiaries to advance an integrated, “one roof” workplace experience. This is a strategic, high-impact role combining real estate, operations, and cross-functional collaboration at the C-level level.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide corporate Real Estate Management expertise across global premises
- Ensure smooth operations and management for Deutsche Börse Group premises
- Deliver construction projects of various sizes worldwide
- Lead complex contract negotiations (leases and GC contracts)
- Manage a global team of 30+ facility management experts
- Enhance the Real Estate & Facility Management Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Ensure compliance with internal and external rules and proper documentation
- Secure budget adherence aligned with targets
- Coordinate with Physical Security, Corporate IT, and Business Continuity teams
- Steer external service providers for building operations (maintenance, cleaning, catering)
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Economics, Engineering or related field
- At least 7 years leading mid to large international teams
- 5-10 years in senior facility management roles focusing on corporate real estate and building operations
- Proven track record in project management with budget responsibility
- Excellent communication skills suitable for C-Level audiences
- Proven business partnership and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High drive and flexibility, including on-site presence and travel
- Fluent in German and English; French is an advantage
