Overview
In this role you shape and drive Eurex’s strategic agenda for listed and OTC derivatives and repo. You partner with the CEO and Management Board to steer long-term planning, competitive analyses, and key strategic initiatives. You will translate market insights into actionable growth propositions and ensure alignment between strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll work across functions to strengthen Eurex’s market position and influence the strategic roadmap. This is a high-impact role in a global, cross-functional setting.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze macroeconomic, market, and tech trends to inform Eurex’s strategic position in derivatives
- Refine and coordinate listed derivatives strategy across initiatives, asset classes, and services with product, sales, IT and operations
- Identify and prioritize organic and inorganic growth opportunities and turn them into profitable business cases
- Oversee competitive intelligence to defend and differentiate Eurex in the global derivatives market
- Lead revenue planning and product/initiative roadmap processes, including financial modelling and budgeting
- Prepare high-quality presentations and strategic updates for the CEO, Management Board, and relevant stakeholders
- Act as a strategic partner to business line owners to align long-term goals with day-to-day execution
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Strong university degree in economics, finance, business, mathematics, engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development or similar function, preferably in financial markets, exchanges, or top-tier consultancy
- Solid understanding of derivatives markets, including listed derivatives, OTC, repo market structure and regulation (advantageous)
- Proven track record shaping and executing strategic initiatives in international environments with C-level stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills including financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities for senior management
- Leadership experience, mentoring or managing teams and leading cross-functional projects
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
