Overview
In this role you contribute to Deutsche Börse Group’s high-quality financial reporting under HGB and IFRS. You will perform multi-entity accounting, manage monthly closings, and support business units with management reporting within an international team. You’ll engage with internal and external auditors and drive alignment between statutory and group reporting. This position offers exposure to finance transformation initiatives, including SAP projects, in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Perform financial accounting and reporting for different legal entities (bank and non-banks) in accordance with HGB (RechKredV)
- Monthly reconciliation between IFRS and HGB/RechKredV ledgers
- Conduct monthly and quarterly closings
- Prepare and coordinate annual reports
- Provide support to business units regarding management reports
- Collaborate actively with accounting colleagues in other locations
- Facilitate communication with internal and external auditors
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven professional experience of at least three years in a comparable accounting or finance role
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS; experience gained in an audit firm is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly within the SAP FI module
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
