General Auditor (f/m/d)

Overview

In this role you will contribute to safeguarding value by providing independent, risk-based assurance to Deutsche Börse Group. You will shape audit areas, perform audits, and help communicate results to management to strengthen risk controls. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to identify deficiencies and pragmatic improvements, supporting the organization’s governance and risk management objectives. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence internal controls and audit methodology in a dynamic financial services environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Plan and shape audit areas and risk assessments
• Execute audits independently and participate in coordinated audits
• Identify deficiencies and develop pragmatic remediation approaches
• Support creation of audit reports and communicate results to line management
• Follow up on audits and recommendations
• Provide audit-related consultancy for internal controls in projects
• Contribute to shaping audit methodology and risk-based planning

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Minimum two years of professional audit experience (internal or external)
• University degree in business administration, economics, banking, law or similar
• Knowledge of internal audit processes; professional certifications (CIA, CRMA) are a plus
• Understanding of Deutsche Börse Group business, processes and systems is advantageous
• Strong analytical, methodical, and conceptual skills in financial markets and IT domains
• Initiative, independence and goal-oriented reporting style
• Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus
