Overview
As Project Manager for the Chief Data Officer, you drive Deutsche Börse Group's data-driven transformation by elevating data as a strategic asset across eight business units. You will lead group-wide data initiatives, shape the data & AI strategy, and scale data capabilities and platforms with a focus on governance and value delivery. You collaborate with business, IT, and senior stakeholders to implement standards and data mesh principles, delivering measurable progress and senior management updates. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence enterprise data governance, platform partnerships, and cross-unit data collaboration.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Steer strategic data transformation initiatives across the Group and strengthen data capabilities
- Collaborate with business units and central functions to implement data mesh principles and governance
- Contribute to enterprise data & AI strategy and ensure data is fit-for-purpose for internal/external use
- Manage core data platforms, standards, and data sharing across domains
- Monitor project progress, track milestones and KPIs, and mitigate risks
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and prepare updates for senior management
Zentrale Anforderungen
- ≥3 years of digital transformation experience in financial services with leading data & AI or digitalization projects
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Strong knowledge of data management, data products, data contracts, data quality, metadata, data distribution, and modern architectures (data mesh, data fabric)
- Experience with enterprise data strategy, governance in a federated setup, and business transformation
- Proven ability to work across multiple lines of business and with cross-functional teams
- Solid PM skills, ideally with PMP or PRINCE2 certification
