Overview

In this role you lead SAP RAR implementations to ensure IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance and seamless integration with FI and SD. You will architect RAR components, optimize revenue recognition processes, and design scalable SAP solutions. You collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile settings, mentor juniors, and drive governance-aligned deployments. This position suits a senior SAP professional who shapes finance IT transformations and delivers measurable business outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche

  • Lead end-to-end SAP RAR implementations and ensure IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance
  • Architect and configure RAR components (Performance Obligations, Fulfillment Events, Revenue Schedules, RAIs, Transaction Price Allocations)
  • Integrate RAR with SAP FI and SD for accurate reporting and efficiency
  • Provide expert consulting on SSP, transaction price allocation, revenue amortization, and lifecycle calculations of RAIs
  • Analyze and optimize revenue recognition processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable SAP RAR solutions
  • Utilize SAP BRF+ and advanced SAP technologies to enhance rule-based automation
  • Lead functional discussions with users, translate business needs into specs
  • Manage support activities (incidents, changes, enhancements) and perform root cause analysis
  • Collaborate in Agile environments, ensure transparency, risk management, and timely delivery
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team capability building
  • Lead workshops and align team with business goals

Zentrale Anforderungen

  • 10+ years of SAP experience
  • 5+ years specializing in SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
  • Proven expertise in implementing and optimizing RAR per IFRS 15 / ASC 606
  • Ability to lead complex projects, drive innovation, and deliver measurable outcomes in Finance IT
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience in Banking/Financial Services preferred
