Overview
As Internal Control Manager, you partner with senior stakeholders to shape and implement the Group-wide Internal Control System (ICS). You steer the ICS strategy, oversee the Group’s risk profile, and drive continuous improvement across entities. You collaborate with risk and control functions to strengthen the control environment and ensure effective governance. This role offers visibility into strategic risk management at group level and impactful interaction with senior management.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Act as strategic partner and advisor to business and senior stakeholders
- Shape and implement the DBG-wide ICS Strategy and oversee the ICS Risk Profile
- Guide and support ICS teams across Deutsche Börse Group entities
- Enhance the ICS Framework through stakeholder input, practical guidance, and training
- Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and provide quality assurance
- Monitor ICS effectiveness and prepare reports for senior/executive management with remediation recommendations
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, or Law
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Control, or related audit/consulting
- Strong understanding of MaRisk, CSSF 12/552, CSDR and industry frameworks (COSO, COBIT/ITIL)
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in English; German and/or French are a plus
