Your Impact

You are responsible for the entire purchasing process of your category, conduct supplier negotiations independently and implement targeted cost reduction initiatives

You ensure that purchasing decisions meet our corporate objectives in terms of cost, quality, delivery capability and risk management

You build long-term, partnership-based relationships with suppliers and negotiate optimal conditions in terms of price and service

You regularly analyse spend data, monitor the budget of your subcategory and identify and minimise potential risks in the supply chain

You work closely with internal departments, resolve escalations in supplier management and actively support product launches

Your Experience and Qualifications

Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or comparable qualification

Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry

Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management and cost reduction projects

Sound knowledge of the foundry industry and experience with castings and turned parts

Business fluent in English, user knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and confident handling of MS Office
