It is owned by the Scherz family and is one of the last traditional family-run Grand Hotels - a Swiss landmark. /ppFrom bSeptember 2026 /b or by arrangement we are looking for a /ph3About the Role /h3pThe Food Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, organization, coordination, and performance of all Food Beverage operations at Gstaad Palace. /ppThis key leadership role ensures the highest standards of luxury service, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance across all FB outlets, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, in-room dining, special events, and nightlife operations. /ppWorking closely with the Executive Chef, Purchasing, Cost Controlling, Events, Front Office, and other hotel departments, the FB Manager plays an important role in maintaining quality, profitability, innovation, and a flawless guest experience in line with the standards of Gstaad Palace and Leading Hotels of the World. /ph3Your area of responsibility includes: /h3ulliLead and coordinate all FB operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, in-room dining, events, and nightlife /liliEnsure consistently high service standards and personalised luxury guest experiences /liliBe highly present during peak service periods, VIP functions, and key hotel events /liliLead, motivate, train, and develop the entire FB service team /liliOversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and departmental training /liliHandle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and discreetly /liliTake responsibility for budgets, forecasts, revenue targets, cost control, and profitability /liliOptimise beverage concepts, menus, pricing, stock levels, and sales opportunities /liliSupport the development of new FB concepts, seasonal offers, events, and guest experiences /liliEnsure smooth cooperation between service, kitchen, bar, events, purchasing, cost control, and hotel management /liliMaintain and develop SOPs, service standards, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives /li /ulh3Qualifications: /h3ulliDegree or diploma in hospitality management, or equivalent professional experience /liliProven FB management experience in luxury hospitality, ideally in first-class hotels /liliStrong background in restaurants, bars, banqueting, and multi-outlet operations /liliExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills /liliStrong guest focus with a hands‑on, detail-oriented, and solution-driven approach /liliSolid financial understanding, including budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis /liliConfident with MS Office, POS, and inventory systems; Kost and Matrix are an advantage /liliReliable, discreet, resilient, flexible, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays /liliFluent in English and French; German and additional languages are an advantage /li /ulh3What we offer you: /h3ulliAn exciting job in a 2-season operation, where variety in working hours and relaxation are guaranteed thanks to the hotel's opening hours /liliAn interesting position with a lot of responsibility in a dynamic team /liliAttractive employment conditions as well as support for further education and internal training courses /liliA mountain region that makes all dreams come true in nature and sport /liliA workplace where tradition and family are lived /liliA varied, independent and responsible field of activity in an international environment /liliEmployee discounts on hotel services /liliA long-term perspective in a successful company /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
