Overview
As a Senior Architect at Guidewire, you drive solution strategy and architectural governance for complex Guidewire implementations. You partner with client executives, engineers, and product teams to align goals with scalable, maintainable solutions. You shape technical standards, guide delivery, and foster stakeholder confidence across large enterprise programs. This role blends architecture leadership with hands-on collaboration to advance Guidewire’s platform impact.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Set and enforce standards for requirements and design across projects, ensuring alignment with base functionality
- Lead functional/technical workstreams and mentor BA teams to maintain alignment with Guidewire capabilities
- Capture and validate requirements across Guidewire and ancillary domains (data, reporting, integrations)
- Define requirements and validate specifications to meet business objectives using Guidewire products
- Drive AI-enabled productivity and innovation in delivery of Guidewire solutions
- Act as trusted advisor to customers and lead discussions with senior stakeholders on roadmaps and solutions
- Support pre-sales by ensuring proposed solutions align with customer value propositions
- Contribute to internal architecture standards, playbooks, and reusable assets
- Mentor junior architects and foster architectural leadership within the PS organization
- Participate in knowledge-sharing, cross-region forums, and internal strategic initiatives
- Represent Professional Services in cross-functional projects and pilots
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Experience in enterprise software architecture and delivery
- German language skills
- Deep Guidewire implementation experience and knowledge of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter
- Ability to define business solutions across multiple workstreams or regions
- Proven track record in requirements development maximizing base functionality
- Strong communication with customer program management, architects, and development teams
- Proficiency in Agile delivery and hybrid cloud strategies
- Involvement in pre-sales and value delivery reviews
- Ability to lead and inspire through collaboration
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for onsite engagements
