Systems Engineer / Technical Project Coordinator

Our Space Business Unit is expanding rapidly. We’re looking for talented software engineers who want to shape the future of European space missions and contribute to high-impact satellite programs across simulation, embedded systems, and spacecraft operations.
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to coordinate and manage internal and external project activities, monitor development progress, and support the integration of hardware and IT systems. You will act as a key interface between technical teams, clients, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with project requirements and documentation standards.
- Coordinate and manage internal project meetings with technical departments, client meetings (e.g., BAAINBw), and subcontractors.
- Monitor and report on development progress, prepare, conduct, and follow up on review meetings.
- Process and evaluate change requests.
- Commission and integrate various hardware components.
- Analyze technical documents such as interface specifications, datasheets, user manuals, and parts lists.
- Develop technical concepts for integrating RF and IT equipment.
- Create and update development-related documentation, including system specifications, block diagrams, verification specifications, and test procedures.
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Recognized Systems Engineering certification (e.g., Level C).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering.
- Experience with V-Model development processes.
- Experience in requirements management and working with DOORS.
- Previous experience in technical project management is desirable.
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills (spoken and written).
