As a Systems & Integration Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of developing and integrating complex defence systems. You’ll work across disciplines to ensure seamless functionality, performance, and compliance, using advanced modelling and V&V techniques to deliver robust, secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate subsystems for defence platforms (e.g. UAVs, vehicles, radar, comms)
• Develop system architectures and perform system modelling and simulation (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, SysML)
• Conduct system‑level analysis and trade studies to support design decisions
• Lead Verification & Validation (V&V) activities across the system lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with MIL‑STD, STANAG, and NATO interoperability standards
• Support prototype development, field testing, and troubleshooting
• Document system interfaces, integration workflows, and test procedures
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and liaise with Bundeswehr and industry stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or related field
• 3+ years experience in defence, aerospace, or high‑reliability systems
• Proficiency in system modelling tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, SysML, Modelica)
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, control theory, and signal processing
• Experience in V&V methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with MIL‑STD, STANAG, or NATO standards
• Experience with integration and requirements tools (e.g. DOORS, LabVIEW)
• Fluent in German or English; both preferred
