Do you have a genuine passion for Linux, automation, and future-proof IT landscapes? Do you value not only keeping systems running but also actively developing them and guiding demanding IT projects from conception to implementation? Then join us for your next career challenge! Our client is an independent, highly specialized IT service provider with around 40 employees, part of an established media group. The company operates largely autonomously and handles technical matters independently. In addition to managing the internal system infrastructure, part of the team is responsible for complex customer projects nationwide – from providing specialized data center capacity for external partners to operating highly available live data portals. You can expect diverse projects, the use of modern technologies, flat hierarchies with direct technical leadership, and a strong, collaborative team. Operations & Development (Main Focus): You will be responsible for the stable operation, continuous optimization, and scaling of complex Linux system environments. Automation & DevOps: You design and implement modern DevOps and automation solutions to make operational processes more efficient. Project Implementation: From the initial idea to the productive go-live, you plan, design, and implement demanding customer projects. Infrastructure Analysis: You analyze existing system environments, identify optimization potential, and increase performance, security, and the degree of automation. Technical Consulting: You advise customers on technical issues and develop future-proof infrastructure concepts with them. Project Responsibility: When required, you take on the technical management of projects and manage the interfaces with internal and external contacts. On-Call Duty: You participate in the structured on-call duty system as part of a fair team rotation.
