• Concept Development & Use Cases: Developing operational concepts and use cases for mission management systems (e.g., NH90);
• Function Chain Definition: End-to-end definition of functions and systems to enable specific helicopter capabilities;
• Requirements Engineering & System Design: Specification, design, and requirements engineering of highly complex avionics systems;
• Integration & Validation Strategy: Defining the strategy for integration, verification, and validation, as well as supporting test bench, ground, and flight tests;
• Qualification & Stakeholder Management: Ensuring system qualification and certification at the helicopter level, and coordinating with project and program management using agile methods.

• Qualification: Successfully completed studies (at least Bachelor's degree) in the fields of aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable course of study (alternatively three-year vocational training with further technical training and sound experience)

• Professional experience: At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Design Engineer, in engineering, research and development or product development in the aerospace industry.

• Technical skills: Sound knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering, system design, and the integration and development of complex avionics systems; prior experience with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe) is an advantage.

• Language skills: Fluent English skills and basic knowledge of German.

• Personal skills: Strong team spirit, good communication skills, and a proactive and independent work style.
