Design Engineer (m/f/d) in Dresden

For our client, an innovative high-tech company in the field of automation technology, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer for Special-Purpose Machine Construction (m/f/d) at their Dresden location. In this varied role, you will play a key part in the development of highly complex automation solutions, from the initial concept sketch to the finished system. Your responsibilities will include the independent conception, design, and development of customer-specific automation systems, mechanical assemblies, and stations according to specifications. You will create sophisticated 3D designs using common CAD systems and derive standards-compliant 2D drawings. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining all relevant design data, such as manufacturing drawings and bills of materials (BOMs). You will present and discuss design concepts within the internal project team and directly with the customer. Close technical coordination with component suppliers, including the creation of detailed specifications, is also part of the role.

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor/Master/Diplom) der Fachrichtung Maschinenbau, Feinwerktechnik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Studienrichtung.

• Sicherer und routinierter Umgang mit 3D-CAD-Systemen.

• Erste berufliche Erfahrungen in der Konstruktion, idealerweise im Sondermaschinen- oder Anlagenbau, sind von großem Vorteil.

• Eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise gepaart mit Teamgeist und Kommunikationsstärke.

• Sprachkenntnisse: Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sowie aktiv anwendbare Englischkenntnisse für die Abstimmung mit internationalen Partnern.
