For a strategic transformation project in the telecommunications sector, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager for Engineering Voice Services (m/f/d) to manage modern voice core implementations and migrations. This position is offered as an attractive project-based contract (temporary employment, Swiss model) for a project duration of 11 months (40 hours/week) with a salary of up to €105,000 per year. You will benefit from an almost 100% home office arrangement with only approximately 2 to 3 days of on-site presence per quarter in the Essen/Düsseldorf area. In this key role, you will manage the technical development of voice services, coordinate IT/OSS interfaces, and future-proof the migration of complex telecommunications systems to a new platform. You will be responsible for the overall management and control of the engineering workstream for the successful implementation of modern voice services for business customers on a new voice core platform. You will also provide technical leadership and coordination to a specialized team of service development specialists to efficiently achieve all project milestones. Responsibility for lifecycle processes from the conception, testing, and technical acceptance of new voice services and service profiles to release for business customer products. Interface transformation and requirements engineering through the creation of service profile requirements for OSS systems and the management of provisioning and automation workflows. Development and management of a migration concept for the seamless and low-risk transfer of existing customers from the previous platform to the target infrastructure. Interface coordination and interoperability between IT/OSS systems, external system suppliers, and the Voice Interconnection department to ensure smooth processes. Project controlling and risk management for the continuous monitoring of progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones within the engineering area.
- Fundierte Expertise im Telekommunikationsumfeld sowie nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Steuerung technischer Transformations- und Engineering-Projekte.
- Erfolgreiche Steuerung und Koordination von internen Projektteams sowie externen Dienstleistern und Systempartnern.
- Erfahrung in der Systemintegration und der Prozessoptimierung an den Schnittstellen zwischen IT-, OSS- und Sprachnetz-Infrastrukturen.
- Souveränes Stakeholder-Management sowie ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke zur zielgerichteten Moderation auf allen Hierarchieebenen inklusive der Führungsebene.
- Analysestärke und Lösungsorientierung zur strukturierten Identifikation von Projektrisiken, Abhängigkeiten und Optimierungspotenzialen.
- Verhandlungssichere Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch auf professionellem Niveau sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse für die sichere Abstimmung im Projektumfeld.
