Business Analyst (m/f/d) in Hamburg

For our client, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst (m/f/d). Start: November 26th. Contract duration: December 31st, 2027. Workload: 100%. Location: Hamburg.

• Supporting digital transformation (SAP environment);
• Operational transformation support: Active participation in digitization projects to modernize the reporting and data landscape;
• SAP system support & optimization: Support in the setup, integration, and daily operation of the SAP-based data platform;
• Liaison function: Coordination between business units, project teams, and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the SAP system;
• External data procurement & service provider management: Coordination of the procurement of external datasets (including BSS); review of data offers, coordination of delivery formats, and monitoring of procurement processes;
• Collaboration with the MIQ team: Close operational cooperation with internal interfaces (such as the MIQ team) to define data standards and align common data requirements. Service Provider Coordination: Managing and monitoring numerous external data and service providers with regard to agreed delivery scopes, deadlines, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Data Onboarding & Quality Assurance: End-to-End Data Onboarding: Professional support for data integration - from the initial raw data delivery through interfaces to deployment in the target systems.
• Quality Control & Plausibility Checks: Systematic verification of incoming data for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
• Error and Root Cause Analysis: Early identification of data anomalies and errors, conducting root cause analyses, and initiating corrective actions with data providers.
• Business Testing & Release Processes: Test Case Creation: Development of practical test plans and test case scenarios based on business requirements. User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Independent testing of new system features, interfaces, and reports in the SAP environment prior to production rollout. Acceptance & Documentation: Structured recording of errors (defect tracking), follow-up of error corrections and granting of technical approval (Go/No-Go decision).
