Production Planner / Manufacturing Planning Engineer (m/f/d) Defense in Kassel

As a key player at the interface between development and production, you will ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of highly complex systems in the defense sector and contribute directly to the operational readiness of modern land and security systems. Your responsibilities will include: creating time schedules based on work packages, scopes of work, and contractual requirements; establishing and maintaining manufacturing structures and standard networks; advising and supporting the procurement of resources according to requirements; actively participating in interdisciplinary coordination meetings with development, purchasing, and materials management; creating, validating, and continuously maintaining production-relevant master data; converting development bills of materials into structured manufacturing bills of materials; preparing detailed and production-oriented work plans; and analyzing manufacturing options and preparing make-or-buy decisions.

• Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical qualification

• Several years of professional experience in work planning or production control, preferably in an industrial, production-related environment.

• Strong technical understanding of complex assemblies and manufacturing processes

• Application procedures in common ERP systems such as SAP, as well as confident use of MS Office

• Fluent German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.

• High resilience, structured work style, quick comprehension and strong teamwork skills
