Technical Project Manager Defence Systems (m/f/d) in Kassel

In a security-critical and high-tech environment, you will play a key role in managing the implementation of complex defense projects, thereby making a crucial contribution to national and international security. Your responsibilities will include the overall management and coordination of demanding projects throughout their entire lifecycle; the creation and ongoing monitoring of detailed project, schedule, and resource plans under dynamic conditions; technical support, including engineering change management, risk assessments, and comprehensive product documentation; the selection, evaluation, and management of national and international suppliers to ensure the highest quality and safety standards; the professional leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders; and the continuous identification of technical project risks and the targeted development of effective solution strategies.

• Successfully completed technical studies in the field of engineering, mechanical engineering, IT or a comparable qualification
• Demonstrable practical experience in managing technical projects, ideally supported by certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2
• Confident use of established project management and scheduling tools
• Strong analytical thinking skills, organizational skills and solution-oriented leadership competence
• Fluent German and English skills for professional collaboration in an international environment
