For our client, a thyssenkrupp Group company in Kiel, we are currently seeking a (Junior) Obsolescence Engineer (m/f/d). Responsibilities include: maintaining obsolescence management status reports and risk registers; supporting the creation and consolidation of project-specific obsolescence management reports; assisting in the creation of obsolescence alerts and solutions; participating in obsolescence management-related meetings; and managing and monitoring obsolescence management interfaces with subcontractors/suppliers.
- They have a successfully completed engineering degree, a comparable qualification or a completed vocational training with relevant experience.
- They possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to collaborate with specialist departments/project teams
- They possess German and English language skills.
- Knowledge of obsolescence management is desirable / technical understanding.
- They possess a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ideally, they possess initial process and methodological knowledge in obsolescence management of complex products.
- They have a structured way of working and maintain this even under challenging project conditions.
- You will impress us with your proactive and cooperative approach in an intercultural environment.
- They are proficient in the MS Office suite.
