Airbus - Materials & Processes Composite Engineer (d/f/m) in Manching

For our client in Manching, we are seeking a Composite Engineer (m/f/d) Materials & Processes who wants to utilize their talents and make a difference. Responsibilities include: Defining technology strategies, principles, and concepts in the field of composite technologies; Developing and harmonizing robust material and process specifications for composite technologies; Creating and providing material and manufacturing selection lists (Standard Selection Lists); Providing material and process characteristics of composite materials to the development and design departments; Defining and validating manufacturing process simulation tools to ensure production-ready materials and production processes; Supporting and ensuring the component certification process through First Part Qualifications; Ensuring compliance with relevant EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations, including REACH compliance and eco-efficient process standards; Providing technical support and advice to the manufacturing, design, and in-service departments on process- and material-specific issues.

• Successfully completed studies (at least Master's or Diploma) in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, composites or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in the aerospace industry
• Sound knowledge in the field of aircraft design and the associated aeronautical engineering requirements.
• Experience in defining and conducting test programs, including interface coordination with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Proficient use of MS Office; experience with CAD systems and practical experience in a laboratory environment are advantageous.
• Initial experience in the field of environmentally relevant compliance regulations (e.g. REACH) as well as knowledge of work package management and reporting.
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Independent, structured work style and strong communication skills
• Willingness to undergo security clearance (Ü2-relevant)
