Our mission at Randstad is to connect people with jobs. Today, we are looking for a Product Integration Engineer for GBAD systems for our business partner Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Ulm. Your responsibilities will include: integrating required software units for planned IBMS releases and performing software and system builds; installing IBMS releases on test and reference systems and conducting initial result regression tests; contributing to the design, modernization, setup, and maintenance of CI/CD processes, toolchains, and new IBMS product test systems; creating, tracking, and coordinating bug reports at the IBMS product level, including liaising with adjacent IBMS projects; supporting test automation, problem analysis, troubleshooting, and verification of bug fixes at the system level; and contributing to release planning, creating detailed plans for the integration team, and maintaining the necessary integration documentation using the Airbus development process.
- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or a comparable qualification (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Experience with integration and testing at product and system level, including structured error analysis
- Proven experience in handling Linux shell scripts as well as knowledge of virtualization and CI/CD processes.
- Good networking skills (TCP/IP, Wireshark, configuration and troubleshooting) and ideally experience with tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, SVN or DOORS
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Independent, proactive work style, enjoyment of agile collaboration, and willingness to travel occasionally.
