Responsibilities include: commissioning application hardware, including adjustment and parameterization of sensors, actuators, and control loops; troubleshooting and PLC programming; conducting process tests for plant safety; optimizing the processes of 240 robots with regard to quality, availability, and cycle time, including adapting the application software; post-processing of PLC programs; training of teams from the production and maintenance departments in PLC programming; handling and controlling complex automation projects; and diagnosing and resolving PLC malfunctions.
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking, IT or electrical trade, e.g. as an electronics technician with relevant further training, or alternatively, a completed degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or automation technology.
- Several years of professional experience in an equivalent role
- Knowledge of SIMATIC STEP7 controllers
- Confident use of MS Office
- Good German skills, both spoken and written.
- Teamwork skills and independent work ethic
