Airbus - Spacecraft Operations Engineer (d/m/f) Taufkirchen

For our client in Taufkirchen, we are looking for a Spacecraft Operations Engineer who wants to use their talents and make a difference. Responsibilities include: conducting satellite operations during all mission phases, including routine operations, special operations, and emergency management; developing, validating, and optimizing flight procedures, as well as supporting the implementation of satellite control systems (mission control system, automation, mission planning, and flight dynamics); conducting system verification tests for ground and satellite systems, as well as configuring mission control systems, including satellite simulator use; monitoring and analyzing satellite telemetry, trend reporting, anomaly management, and providing on-call support; and creating and delivering training courses for satellite and ground systems, as well as reporting to the end customer regarding satellite status, KPIs, and mission planning.

• Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Physics

• At least 5 years of professional experience in satellite operations or the development of satellite systems

• Solid experience with satellite databases as well as very good knowledge of satellite systems (e.g. AOCS, OBDH, TTC, payload, power, thermal) and data analysis.

• Good programming skills as well as fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel on business, work occasional shifts, be on call, complete a security clearance (Ü2) and comply with export control regulations.
