IT Operations Specialist (m/f/d) in Berlin

Berlin is building the future – will you be part of it? We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to manage one of the public sector's key data and AI platforms. Based in Berlin, you will be responsible for the stable operation and further development of state-of-the- state-of-the-art IT infrastructures – reliably, innovatively, and with a strong societal impact. Design & operate platforms: You will be responsible for the reliable setup, development, and integration of virtualization, container, and monitoring solutions in a modern on-premises environment. Resolve incidents & improve processes: You will diagnose and resolve incidents and utilize blameless post-mortems to sustainably eliminate root causes. Ensure availability: You will monitor SLO alerts and error budgets to consistently meet agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Drive automation: You will identify optimization potential in daily operations and continuously automate business processes.

• Basis: Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes IT-Studium oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung sowie mindestens 3 Jahre praktische Erfahrung im IT-Betrieb, Produktionssupport und der Systemadministration.

• Linux-Know-how: Deep Dive in Linux-Plattformen – du administrierst entsprechende Systeme sicher und souverän.

• Standards & Sprachen: Solide ITIL-Grundkenntnisse sowie verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse (C1) und gutes Englisch (B2).

• Dein Tech-Stack (Idealfall): Erfahrung mit Kubernetes (2nd/3rd Level), Docker, PostgreSQL, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab, Terraform, Cloud-Plattformen (AWS/Azure/GCP) und Scripting (Python, Bash, Go) runden dein Profil ab.
