Design & Development: Developing innovative design solutions for components, complex assemblies, and engine applications, taking into account safety, manufacturability, performance, cost, and weight. Model-Based Definition (MBD): Creating technical definitions and models using classical methods as well as modern MBD approaches in a Model-Based Environment (MBE). Automation & Lean Engineering: Development and use of automated engineering toolsets and workflows, as well as application of lean engineering principles to prevent defects (zero-defect goals). Methodological Application: Use of robust design, systems engineering, and risk management techniques (including xFMEA) to ensure the highest quality standards ("right-first-time"). Analysis & Validation: Conducting technical analyses, formula calculations, and validations regarding stability, stiffness, and weight. Quality Assurance & Documentation: Review and approval of design documents, drawings, and models, as well as creation of technical documentation in compliance with governance and compliance standards. Supplier Management: Planning, managing, and monitoring externally outsourced design tasks to service providers and suppliers.

Qualifikation: Abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor oder Master) im Bereich Ingenieurwesen (z.b. Maschinenbau, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik) oder eine vergleichbare technische Qualifikation mit relevanter Berufserfahrung.

Fachwissen: Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich der mechanischen Konstruktion sowie ein breites Verständnis für angrenzende Disziplinen wie Aerodynamik, Thermodynamik, mechanische Analyse und Fertigungstechnik.
