On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Application Manager / Patient Billing Specialist (m/f/d) for their Bochum location. Our client is the IT and service company of one of Germany's largest non-profit hospital groups, with approximately 15,000 employees at 13 locations. From its headquarters in Bochum, the company develops digital solutions and optimizes business processes for its affiliated hospitals. Responsibilities include: providing expert advice to hospitals on all aspects of inpatient billing; analyzing, optimizing, and further developing billing processes throughout the entire treatment case; advising on and providing operational support for electronic data exchange in accordance with Section 301 of the German Social Code, Book V (on-site or remotely); interdisciplinary collaboration with medical controlling, coding specialists, and hospital administration; conducting user training; and participating in projects for the digitalization and automation of billing processes.
- Berufserfahrung in der stationären Patientenabrechnung, im Medizincontrolling oder als Medizinische Kodierfachkraft – auch engagierte Einsteiger mit fundierter Praxis- und IT-Erfahrung sind willkommen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse im G-DRG-System (ICD-10 GM, OPS) sowie der relevanten rechtlichen Grundlagen (KHEntgG, FPV, PrüfvV, § 301 SGB V)
- Sicherheit im Umgang mit Krankenhausinformationssystemen (KIS, z. B. iMedA) und Abrechnungssoftware
- Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für klinische Abläufe von der Aufbereitung der Behandlungsdaten bis zur Abrechnung
- Analytisches Denkvermögen, Kundenorientierung sowie Freude an der Beratung und Schulung von Mitarbeitenden
