We are seeking a dedicated development engineer for a leading technology partner in the security and defense industry who will make a crucial contribution to future-proof equipment and national security with high-precision electromechanical assemblies and modern design solutions. Development and design of electromechanical components, assemblies, and segments tailored to requirements and manufacturing using 3D CAD. Analysis of overarching customer requirements and creation of 3D implementation concepts, taking interfaces and reusable components into account. Design, selection, and specification of suitable standard and purchased parts within the framework of quality, deadline, and cost goals. Technical coordination with internal departments, external suppliers, and customers, including technical support of the procurement process. Creation, review, and maintenance of standards-compliant technical product specifications, as well as management of product data in SAP PLM. Management of external subcontractors in development and manufacturing activities. Planning, execution, and support of integration activities, initial samples, and engineering tests. Participation in customer qualification, acceptance testing, and technical support for customer documentation. Preparation and support of series production readiness, testability, and series production launch. Participation in technical effort estimation and quotation processing.
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau, Feinwerktechnik, Mechatronik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Erste fundierte Erfahrung in der 3D-CAD-Konstruktion, idealerweise mit Siemens NX
- Erste praktische Erfahrung im Maschinen- oder Anlagenbau sowie Grundverständnis für Optik und Elektrotechnik
- Anwenderkenntnisse in SAP-PLM sowie fundiertes Wissen in Mechanik, Werkstofftechnik und Konstruktionsmethoden
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Ausgeprägte Zielorientierung, Organisationsgeschick und strukturierte Arbeitsweise auch in dynamischen Projektphasen
- Hohe Eigeninitiative, Kreativität bei der Lösungsfindung sowie weltweite Reisebereitschaft
