Calculation Engineer (m/f/d)

For a leading high-tech company in the sensor and defense electronics sector in Ulm, we are seeking to expand our team in the area of mechanical development as soon as possible. In this demanding role, you will be involved in the development of highly complex electromechanical systems from the initial concept study to regulatory approval. Your responsibilities will include conducting structural and thermal FEM analyses at the system and component levels; preparing strength and fatigue strength analyses according to international standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MMPDS, EASA CS) while incorporating relevant safety factors; creating, performing, and evaluating stationary and transient thermal calculations down to the circuit board level; actively supporting the development and verification of innovative thermal concepts; providing computational verification for welds according to FKM guidelines or EUROCODE; performing standards-compliant bolt verification (e.g., according to VDI 2230 or HSB); and conducting FEM analyses from early concept validation to analytical verification throughout the ongoing development process. Precise documentation of the analyses, creation of technical reports and presentation of the results.

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium (mind. Bachelor) im Bereich Ingenieurwesen, Maschinenbau oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Fundierte Berufserfahrung in der Strukturberechnung und analytischen Nachweisführung.
• Erste praktische Erfahrung im Bereich der Strömungsmechanik und/oder Thermodynamik.
• Routinierter Umgang mit FE-Programmen wie ANSYS (Struktur), SpaceClaim, DesignModeller oder FloEFD.
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- sowie versierte Englischkenntnisse.
• Praktische Kenntnisse im CAD-System Siemens NX sind von Vorteil.
• Know-how bezüglich stochastischer Dynamik (PSD), Schock sowie Wind- und Wellenmodellen wünschenswert.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit sowie hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Organisationstalent.
