Welding Engineer (m/f/d) in Dresden

For our client, an established and expanding company in the high-purity plant engineering sector located in Dresden, we are seeking an experienced Welding Engineer / Welding Supervisor (m/f/d) for direct placement. You will be responsible for the technical leadership and quality assurance of demanding welding projects on construction sites throughout Germany. This includes assuming responsibility for welding supervision at construction sites across Germany in accordance with EN ISO 14731 / DVS 2213. You will create and monitor processing, welding, and procedure instructions, as well as systematically review the corresponding welding protocols. Material-specific support is also required: In the area of stainless steel, you will ensure corrosion resistance (weld preparation, forming, pickling, passivation). In the area of plastics, you will be responsible for the selection and qualification of thermoplastics (PP, PE, PVDF, PVC) and monitor the welding parameters (pressure, temperature, time). You will ensure the weldability of materials, welding consumables, and auxiliary materials, as well as the functional testing of machines and equipment. You will also be responsible for verifying the suitability and validity of certifications held by welding and bonding personnel.

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Ingenieurstudium (Maschinenbau, Werkstofftechnik, Kunststofftechnik o. ä.) oder eine fundierte technische Ausbildung (Anlagenmechaniker, Schlosser etc.) mit tiefgehender praktischer Expertise.

• Fundierte Berufserfahrung im Schweißen sowie in der Montage von Baugruppen (z. B. UHP, GMP) inklusive ausgewiesener Praxis als Schweißaufsicht.

• Absolute Sicherheit im Lesen und Interpretieren technischer Zeichnungen und Pläne.

• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

• Gültiger Führerschein (Klasse B) sowie eine deutschlandweite Reisebereitschaft von ca. 50 %.
