Our client is a leading, internationally operating energy company in the European energy supply and wholesale sector. To ensure the smooth supply and physical trading of gas in the Western European gas network, we are seeking an experienced Gas Dispatching/Gas Operations Specialist to join their operational trading desk as soon as possible. Responsibilities include: Nomination Management: Conducting and monitoring gas nominations and re-nominations to TSOs, storage and LNG operators, and trading partners, including resolving mismatches. Portfolio Dispatching: Operational dispatching of natural gas storage facilities, LNG terminals, and transport capacities in the Western European gas network (including the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain). Capacity Booking: Active participation in spot capacity auctions to ensure sufficient injection and withdrawal capacities for physical gas demand. Network and Restriction Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of operational bottlenecks, capacity restrictions, and supply interruptions. Emergency Support: Supporting shift dispatchers in managing critical supply situations and gas shortages during office hours. Stakeholder Communication: Close collaboration with transmission system operators (TSOs), terminal operators, and international trading partners. Reporting & Reconciliation: Conducting daily operational reporting, data reconciliation, and incident and exception management. System Support: Proficient use of industry-standard trading, nomination, and capacity platforms (e.g., Prisma, GTS, Daisy, Gemini, RBP, ETRM/Endur)).
- Berufserfahrung: Nachweisbare Erfahrung im Gas-Dispatching, Gas-Scheduling oder in den operativen Abläufen des europäischen Gasgroßhandels.
- Marktkenntnisse: Fundiertes Wissen über die westeuropäischen Gasmärkte (z. B. TTF, NBP, ZTP, Fluxys, GTS).
- Systempraxis: Rutschierter Umgang mit TSO-Portalen, Kapazitätsbuchungsplattformen (z. B. Prisma, RBP) sowie ETRM-Systemen (z. B. Endur).
- Prozessverständnis: Solide Kenntnisse in der Buchung und Überwachung von Transport-, LNG- und Speicherkapazitäten.
- Arbeitsweise: Hohe Eigenverantwortung, Zuverlässigkeit und Freude an der Arbeit in einem dynamischen 24/7-Handelsumfeld.
- Belastbarkeit: Starke operative Entscheidungsfähigkeit und Gelassenheit unter zeitkritischen Bedingungen.
- Sprachkenntnisse: Verhandlungssicheres Englisch in Wort und Schrift (Teamsprache).
- Flexibilität: Bereitschaft zu planbaren Präsenztagen am Standort Düsseldorf (z. B. 2 Tage alle 2 Wochen, intensivierte Einarbeitungsphase vor Ort) bei ansonsten flexiblem Home-Office innerhalb Deutschlands.
