Our partner, an internal IT service provider in the healthcare sector, is seeking an IT System Administrator (m/f/d) for their Leipzig location. The primary focus of this role is the maintenance of the backup system and ensuring its smooth operation. The company supports the clinics and hospitals within the group in the digitalization and further development of their software. This position can be performed almost entirely remotely, with the exception of quarterly meetings in Leipzig. A start date is possible immediately or at a later date. You will ensure the smooth operation of the SAN, the VMware environment, and the entire server infrastructure. You will manage and monitor the backup system (Simpana CommVault). You will handle troubleshooting within the scope of 2nd and 3rd level support. You will develop and implement solutions and optimization strategies. They actively participate in IT projects and will also take on sub-project management roles in the future.
- Sie haben ein Studium in Informatik, Medizininformatik oder Wirtschaftsinformatik erfolgreich abgeschlossen oder verfügen über eine Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) für Systemintegration.
- Sie bringen fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich virtueller Serverlandschaften sowie praktische Erfahrung mit Backups, SAN und Datenbanken mit.
- Ein Schwerpunkt in den Bereichen VMware und/oder Simpana CommVault ist von großem Vorteil.
- Sie sind routiniert im Umgang mit Microsoft Betriebssystemen (Windows 2008 R2 bis Windows 2022).
- Idealerweise verfügen Sie über mehrjährige Erfahrung in einem ähnlich komplexen Umfeld (mit über 500 Servern).
- Ihre Arbeitsweise ist strukturiert, ziel- und serviceorientiert; Sie erfassen neue Themenkomplexe schnell und arbeiten sich zügig ein.
- Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie eine ausgeprägte Team- und Lösungsorientierung runden Ihr Profil ab.
