IT Application Support Specialist for Billing/Invoicing Systems (m/f/d)

Our client is a leading utility and infrastructure provider in Northern Germany. This long-established company reliably supplies hundreds of thousands of residential and commercial customers with electricity, natural gas, water, and district heating. As a regional driving force behind the energy transition, the group is advancing sustainable infrastructure projects, which includes future‑proof service and efficient system billing for its numerous heating customers. The goal: to support the smooth implementation of monthly customer billing and to prevent errors. Core tasks: Technical adjustments to the QBilling billing system; adaptation of invoice texts and attachments (e.g., CO2 emissions data); proactive support for the 10-15 employees in the billing and controlling department to systematically minimize billing errors; and hands‑on support for the billing staff in their daily operations.

Practical experience: You have professional experience in IT application support or at the interface between IT and business departments (e.g., billing/controlling).

Tech affinity: They are characterized by a very high technical affinity as well as a pronounced enthusiasm for programming and system customization.

System knowledge: Experience with the billing system used (QBilling) is expressly not required – you will receive comprehensive training and detailed familiarization.

Working style: You enjoy providing hands‑on assistance to users (controllers and staff units) and are willing to make regular on‑site assignments in Bremen (with a flexible home office component).
