As a Functional Business Consultant, you will form the central interface between the specialist departments, business processes, and the IT/ISM landscape. You will translate business requirements into future-proof system solutions, ensure smooth operations, and drive digitalization projects forward. End-to-end process responsibility and continuous optimization within the respective department.
Central point of contact for stakeholders from the specialist departments and management of the interface to IT. Translation of technical requirements into functional system and process concepts. Incident and change management, error analysis, and ensuring data quality and system stability. Management of external service providers, moderation of workshops, and coordination with interface areas.
Training of key users and creation of transparent process and system documentation. Functional configuration and support of service modules in modern ERP systems (e.g., installed base, service contracts, work orders, service execution, billing). Functional responsibility for other service applications along the service value chain. Support of releases, tests, and optimization of system usage in the service environment.
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Geschäftsprozesse in einem industriellen B2B-Umfeld (Maschinenbau/Anlagenbau bevorzugt)
- Analytische, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise gepaart mit einer Hands-on-Mentalität
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Erfahrung mit Service-Prozessen im industriellen oder projektbasierten Umfeld
- Praktische Erfahrung mit ERP-Service-Modulen (idealerweise IFS Cloud)
- Gute Deutschkenntnisse sind für den Standort Deutschland von Vorteil
