To strengthen and ensure the future viability of our language services, we are looking for a dedicated individual who combines traditional translation processes with state-of-the-art AI and language technology. Your responsibilities will include: coordinating and managing translation projects (including order management, quote preparation, and liaising with internal project contacts and external service providers); updating, maintaining, and developing translation memories in the CAT tool Trados; creating, maintaining, expanding, and updating the terminology database and glossaries in coordination with other departments; actively developing and continuously optimizing processes in the translation and terminology area, also in collaboration with external partners; further developing quality assurance in the source and target languages, particularly with regard to automation; and establishing and expanding a language services department for KNDS with a focus on automation and AI-based language technology.
- Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Übersetzung, Terminologie, Technische Kommunikation, Computerlinguistik oder Sprachtechnologie
- Berufserfahrung im Übersetzungs- und Terminologiemanagement
- Erfahrung mit maschinellen und KI-gesteuerten Übersetzungen
- Projektmanagementerfahrung
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Sehr gutes Sprachgefühl
- Interesse an militärischen Fahrzeugen und technischen Inhalten
- IT-Affinität und Kenntnisse im Bereich LLM
