Key Responsibilities
Manage the site inventory of measuring instruments and oversee the calibration process
Manage collaboration with
machine vendor
and
calibration suppliers
to coordinate calibration activities and verify results.
Supervise calibration activities of the local team (scheduling, reporting, training…)
Process purchase requests for various activities (repairs, calibration, etc.) for all our measuring instruments and tools
Ensure tools and measuring instruments identification and location are accurate
Analyze equipment malfunctions and propose solutions
Define
calibration methods , review technical requirements, and ensure alignment with applicable standards.
Perform calibration activities
Write and review
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
related to calibration activities.
Support and advise the on‑site test engineer performing functional tests, providing technical inputs to save time and optimize results.
Ensure compliance with
ISO 17025
and laboratory calibration requirements.
Review and maintain
documentation
for internal audits, quality inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Manage project‑related calibration activities
Provide technical recommendations and corrective actions if discrepancies or deviations are observed.
About you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Engineering, Physics, Metrology, or related field.
10 years of experience
in calibration/metrology in a
pharmaceutical or regulated environment .
Minimum
2 years as calibration supervisor
Practical experience with
ISO 17025 standards
and laboratory calibration requirements.
Experience interacting with
equipment vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders .
Strong documentation and SOP writing skills.
Solid understanding of
calibration techniques and instrumentation
in pharma/sterilization environments.
Excellent
problem‑solving
and
analytical skills .
Fluent in English; German is advantageous.
Strong
communication and collaboration skills
to interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to
prioritize tasks and work independently
under tight deadlines.
