YOUR CHALLENGES
As Manager Warehouse (gn), you will ensure proper operational processing as well as the timely distribution of finished pharmaceuticals and healthcare products from the distribution site. In addition, you will be responsible for shipping via selected transport service providers to Sanofi branches worldwide as well as to pharmaceutical wholesalers, hospitals and pharmacies. As a manager, you will be responsible for the Team Managers Domestic, Returns and Export.
What does that mean in concrete terms?
- Ensuring the proper receipt, storage, picking, loading and dispatch of finished products at the site for export to around 80 countries worldwide, mainly to subsidiaries
- Ensuring the proper processing of returns
- Planning and adjustment of personnel deployment in the area of responsibility depending on operational requirements
- Analysis of structures and work processes in the area of responsibility as well as identification of optimization opportunities along the entire material flow chain
- Responsibility for customer-related processes in the respective area with the aim of increased efficiency, coordination and monitoring of process change measures
- Leadership, motivation and further development of subordinate employees in accordance with the company's management principles as well as decisions on individual personnel measures in coordination with the supervisor and the HR department
- Ensuring an efficient structure and operation of the organization in the area of responsibility
- Ensuring and monitoring compliance with legal regulations, GDP guidelines, HSE aspects, official requirements and internal regulations on occupational safety, environmental protection and health protection
- Bringing distribution-specific aspects into the business planning of the commercial operation as well as working directly with the channel partner in ComOps in the planning and implementation of specific marketing measures
- Collaboration on projects in your own area of responsibility as well as their implementation within your own organizational unit
- Ensuring that the quality of products is not compromised during storage and transport
You will also be responsible for the following function-specific responsibilities:
- Plan human resources, budget, and investments in collaboration with line and business departments. Monitor compliance with approved budget and investment plans, and take appropriate action to ensure compliance activities are adequately implemented
- Recruiting, developing and managing employees in accordance with established management principles. Initiating disciplinary measures as necessary in coordination with the line management and the HR department. Establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient organization and adapting it if necessary
YOUR TALENTS
- You have a technical college or university degree with a technical or economic background
- You have at least 10 years of management experience
- You have in-depth experience in engineering as well as in the handling of administrative processes
- Your German and English skills are fluent
