This recent announcement is a further illustration of H55’s position as a major enabler in the electric commuter market.About the roleIn the frame of its product development (Electric Propulsion System and Modular Battery Pack), H55 is searching for a Senior Software Model Based Engineer. You will report to the Software Team Leader.You will be responsible for:Developing embedded model-based software in accordance to requirements to meet DO-178 / DO-331 certification objectives.Establishing a model-based software architecture that fulfills full model and code coverage.Participating in simulation and test procedures using MIL, SIL, and HIL to verify the functionality, safety, and compliance of the model-based software.Preparing simulation cases and test result reports suitable for requirement validation and verification.Participating in maintaining company standards and processes.Your ProfileBachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.Experience as a Software Model Based Engineer in Aviation (5+ years).Experience in design, simulation, testing, and debugging using Matlab Simulink products.Experience in MIL, SIL, and HIL Testing.Ability to express design with requirements.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Fluent English; French is a plus but not mandatory.Nice to have:Knowledge about DO-331, DO-178, ARP-4754, and ARP-4761 standards or guidelines to be able to interpret the safety impact of the software at the system level.Experience with Power Electronics.Experience with Battery Management System.Familiarity with the DO-Qualification kit and related toolboxes of Matlab-Simulink.What we offerAn amazing work location in Sion, Valais in the heart of the Swiss Alps.A highly dynamic and multicultural environment where you can grow and learn by working on ambitious challenges to shape the future of Electric Aviation.We hope this role sounds exciting and could be your next step.
