AI Engineer (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf Vollzeit Vor Ort
Haavest GmbH

You build AI agents that take over real processes: sorting inboxes, evaluating documents, creating tickets, monitoring deadlines, preparing replies. You develop them directly in our customers’ environments, with real permissions and logging from the start, and guide them into regular operation.

Agents are our flagship. With your work you shape the core of what Haavest stands for.

Get started with us at Haavest

You have at least three years of experience in software development or data engineering, including hands‑on work with LLM applications: retrieval, tool calls, orchestration, evaluation. You are confident in Python and at home in a cloud environment, preferably Azure.

You understand that an agent is only as good as its connections, its knowledge base and its rules. Permissions, data protection and traceability are part of development for you, not an afterthought. A certification such as Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) is welcome but not required.

You explain technical matters so that business units and IT understand them, and you work confidently in German and English. You work independently and ask for help when you need it.

You work in an agile way with experienced colleagues in data engineering, architecture and AI, and directly with the management. We are owner‑managed and have a clear focus: Microsoft Fabric as the data platform and AI agents on top. You get real responsibility instead of micromanagement and short paths instead of a jungle of responsibilities.

Connections, knowledge base and rules

You connect agents to ERP, document storage, ticketing and mailboxes, structure the knowledge base and build the decision logic explicitly and testably instead of hiding it in the prompt. You choose platform and model to suit the customer, on Microsoft or Databricks.

Quality and operations

You make sure every action of the agent is logged and can be evaluated, watch reliability and cost and roll out updates. Operations is part of your job, not only the first prototype.

Use cases with the business unit

In the Assess phase you work with the business unit and IT to sharpen the process to be built, and you estimate the effort honestly before the first line is written.

Special achievements should be celebrated: in addition to a fair base salary, we reward the achievement of jointly set goals with appropriate bonus payments.

Flexible Working Hours

Balance is a matter of trust: to help you achieve the best possible work‑life balance, we are happy to accommodate your time management needs.

Variable Work Location

You can be productive anywhere: because everyone has their own preferences, we are open to the question of “office, remote, or hybrid.”

Optimal Training

In order to keep up with important developments and keep the team up to date, regular training courses and workshops are a matter of course for us.

Fitness Club Subsidy

Mens sana in corpore sano: In accordance with this Latin principle, we promote your health by offering discounted membership in a fitness club of your choice.
