Reporting to the Senior Manager Operations Controlling EU, the Senior Financial Analyst manufacturing oversees the financial performance of the Geneva and Lyon manufacturing plants, translating operational activity into accurate financial results, and partnering with plant leadership to drive cost control, performance management, and profitability.
This position is part of the EU Operations Finance organization, located in Geneva, Switzerland, and will be primarily on-site due to close interaction with manufacturing operations.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Partnering with Plant Leadership, the Senior Manager Operations Controlling EU, and Finance leadership to establish and maintain standard plant reporting, KPIs, and performance dashboards (productivity, inventory, E&O, plant reporting packages).
Acting as the financial contact to the plant, supporting budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and monthly and quarterly variance analysis with clear financial commentary in collaboration with the EU Operations Finance team.
Steering plant-level controlling activities, including cost of sales analysis, inventory valuation, and variance explanations to support operational decision-making.
Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end close activities in compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, SOX, and Veralto accounting policies.
Owning the capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and forecasting process for the region, including financial review of operational investment proposals.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or senior cost accounting role.
Demonstrated experience with manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation, cost of sales, and variance analysis.
Knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, and SOX compliance requirements.
Strong ERP experience required; Oracle Fusion experience preferred (other ERPs acceptable).
Fluent in English and French.
