We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager (d/w/m) for Software TPS to support our TPS Sales Team.
Your Tasks
- Develop long-term relationships with customers, usually together with our local/regional team.
- Master the Software TPS portfolio, coordinate with PLM and System Management to achieve optimal solutions, including TPS.plan, TPS.live, TPS.trackworks, TPS.yards.
- Monitor the market from an entrepreneurial perspective and establish a consistent customer strategy. Develop and prioritize opportunities, turning them into successful projects through negotiation and interaction with customers and partners.
- Develop and evaluate alternative business models to generate new business.
- Lead multi-disciplinary bid teams for medium and large opportunities across various locations and guide project teams during the delivery phase.
- Provide continuous transparency on market and opportunity development to management.
Your Profile
- Degree in Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with planning processes within the rail industry relevant to the Software TPS portfolio and technical understanding of software design and development.
- Preferably experience with core elements of the SW TPS portfolio or similar products.
- At least eight years of experience in sales, business development, system management, or a comparable customer-facing role in the rail industry.
- Understanding of market mechanisms, stakeholders, and a personal network within the rail industry.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- Willingness to travel about 25% for customer visits, external/internal partners, and events.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, customer-first attitude, and structured working approach.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
- Willing to work from our Hanover office several days a week.
